For the past year, I have been working as the co-founder of Documenso, an open-source document signing platform.
Upflowy - Senior Software Developer
In this role, I was part of a close-knit global team responsible for delivering solutions aimed at improving user experience flows.
I leveraged my expertise in Node.js, Typescript, and DevOps to enhance the existing codebase and operations. During my tenure I had the opportunity to work with GCP, Firebase, React, BigQuery, and Finite State Machines (XState). This role allowed me to broaden my technical skills and make a meaningful impact on the quality and reliability of the end-user experience.
Achievements
- Enhanced end-to-end testing capabilities through the adoption of Cypress 10, resulting in improved performance.
- Mitigated offline client handling challenges by designing and implementing a provider-based generic offline solution.
- Stabilised the monorepo structure, resulting in a reduction of package warnings and optimisation of bundle sizes through diligent analysis and resolution of excess size contributors.

Fontis - Senior Developer
In this role, I was a member of a cross-functional team delivering cutting edge headless e-commerce solutions to a diverse group of clients.
My priority was on ensuring the platform's scalability and optimising delivery speed. I was accountable for various critical components of the headless e-commerce platform with a specific emphasis on content management.
My technical skills in Node.js, Typescript, Vue.js and AWS were put to use as I developed and maintained various components of the platform. I was also able to broaden my knowledge in the area of bot management and identification, instant search, and GraphQL.
Achievements
- Contributed to a comprehensive overhaul of the content management systems, resulting in increased client satisfaction.
- Served as a critical participant in the hiring process, providing mentorship and guidance to new hires during their onboarding.
- Assumed ownership of and delivered numerous large-scale features to clients, demonstrating technical expertise and project management skills.
- Participated in a team responsible for reducing site scraping by a significant margin, contributing to overall site scalability.

Telstra - Web Developer
In this role, I was a member of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining and managing an IoT-based network health monitoring solution.
I played a key role in updating the monitoring application with Node.js and Vue.js, ensuring a seamless user experience that met the evolving needs of the business.
To streamline operations and effectively manage our incoming and outgoing data streams, I developed new skills in Golang and Python to develop custom tools for the management of data. Additionally I also began performing data analysis through the use of SQL and HiveQL.
These efforts helped to boost efficiency and overall platform performance.
Achievements
- Designed and rolled out a new frontend for the platform that significantly boosted user satisfaction.
- Established a testing framework for a legacy API, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of data.
- Acquired expertise in data analysis and engineering, encompassing both Hadoop and SQL systems.
- Built a moderate multi-threaded application to handle the recurring processing of millions of records.
Nov 2018 - Dec 2019
IBM - DevOps Engineer
In this role, I was part of the team responsible for implementing DevOps practices and tooling. Utilising my programming experience, I developed automation tools and applications that operate within software restricted environments.
Together with my team, we created multiple Proof of Concepts (POCs) for our client, showcasing innovative ideas and driving results. These POCs were well received, and several were turned into full-fledged projects.
With my skills in Node.js, Vue.js, Powershell, Python, and AWS, I was able to bring value to the team and help the organization move towards a more streamlined and efficient work process.
Achievements
- Implemented DevOps methodologies and tooling within a large Government account, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and automation.
- Designed and executed the automation of the installation and deployment of complex Enterprise Applications, improving efficiency and reducing manual errors.
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a comprehensive cloud strategy, aligning technology with business goals and objectives.
- Conceptualized, developed, and maintained custom tools and applications for monitoring and managing machine and architecture state within the cloud environment.
